Etereia
The Wired branded accommodation facility
In the heart of the city of Milan, in the Tortona district, stands the hotel inspired by Wired magazine: Etereia.
With the idea of translating the personality of the client into a set of spaces, the hotel is featured by a colorful and non-conformist aesthetic. Particular attention was paid to the issues of technology and innovation: the creation of metaphysical and dreamy spaces allows to explore the fleeting boundary between physical and virtual.
Located within Casa Base, this hybrid structure offers its customers the possibility of staying in both hotel rooms and hostel rooms and making use of the related common areas.

This room is dedicated to people who, like Eric Nielsen, are in Milan to follow art and design events and need to stay in the city for a short period.
This space is designed to balance the privacy of the individual user with the sociability of a group of friends or colleagues.

Quadruple room
This room is dedicated to those who, like the Maier family, want to fully experience Milan's cultural offer at affordable prices.
This environment is designed to accommodate both a family unit of 4 people and the same number of strangers, since it is possible to separate the two squares of the double bed and obtain two single beds.

This room is dedicated to those who, like the emerging videomaker Raffaele De Luca, want to make their stay in Milan unforgettable.
In this environment, also accessible to those with motor difficulties, the key word is "dialogue", which can translate into "dialogue with yourself" or "dialogue and discussion with others".
Common Space
Balls Room
Reserved exclusively for hotel and hostel guests, this space is configured as a hybrid environment in which the user can, using the same devices, work on the PC or take a break and relax in the ball pits.

A new way of sharing spaces and working remotely, no longer isolated in one's room but, rather, sharing and relating with people.

Cohesion Space
Open to the outside public, this environment represents the Wired spirit in every way: there is the Experience Room (which allows the user to immerse themselves in a virtual world), the Coworking space (dedicated to all those who need spaces and an Internet connection useful for working and studying) and the Streaming Factory (the radio studio from which it's possible to share live social broadcasts).

About the project...
Etereia is a group project carried out as part of the Metaproject Laboratory of the AY 2020/2021 of the Degree Course in Interior Design of the Polytechnic of Milan.
